Our online triage system is changing...
We will soon be moving away from eConsult, transitioning to Klinik as our online consultation provider.
We want to let you know about an upcoming change to the way you contact the surgery online. On Monday 22nd June 2026, we will be moving away from eConsult and will begin using a new system called Klinik.
Why are we making this change?
Over recent months, many patients have shared feedback that the current online system can sometimes be confusing and time-consuming to use. Having carefully considered this feedback, we have decided to move to a new system that is simpler, clearer, and easier to use, particularly for patients who may be less confident using computers or online services.
What is Klinik?
Klinik will be our new online system that allows you to contact the surgery and let us know what support or assistance you need. The system is designed to feel more like a short conversation and asks fewer, more relevant questions. This makes it quicker and easier for patients to explain their needs in a more natural way.
How Klinik can help:
- Easier to use - You can describe your problem in your own words. The system also allows you to use a simple body map or enter a few key words instead of completing long forms.
- Quicker to complete - The system only asks questions that are relevant to your request, helping you complete your request more quickly.
- One place for all requests - You can use the same system for a range of requests, including medical advice, fit notes, test results, and administrative queries.
- Helps us prioritise care - The information you provide helps our clinical team assess requests more effectively and identify patients who need more urgent care, ensuring support is provided at the right time.
What do you need to do?
You do not need to do anything differently. You will still visit our practice website and select the “Contact us online” button, just as you do now.
The only change is that you will see a new, simpler system that is designed to work well on both computers and mobile phones.
Important information
- You do not need to create an account
- You do not need to download an app
- You can access Klinik directly through our practice website
Need help? If you do not have access to the internet, we have laptops available for use within our reception areas.
If you find online systems difficult to use, you can still contact the surgery. A member of our team will be able to submit a request on your behalf.
We hope this change will make it easier for patients to access the support and care they need. The decision to move to a new online system has been shaped by the feedback we have received from our patients, and we are grateful to everyone who has taken the time to share their experiences and suggestions with us.
Your feedback has played an important role in helping us improve the way patients contact the surgery. Thank you for your continued support during this transition.
