Dr Caroline Chebsey

  • Qualifications: BSc, MB, BS, RCGP
  • Education: University College London
  • Specialist Clinical Interests: Womens Health & Fertility, Student GP Mentor

Dr Chebsey joined Downend Health Group in April 2019 and continues to practice as a fertility consultant at the Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine. In her spare time, Dr Chebsey enjoys travel, tennis and cooking.

 

Dr Lucy Coombs

  • Qualifications: MBBCh, MRCGP, DRSH
  • Education: University of Cardiff
  • Specialist Clinical Interests: Diabetes, Sexual Health
  • Non- Clinical Interests: Green Lead, Administration & Secretarial Lead

Dr Coombs grew up in Southampton and joined the practice in July 2019. Away from work, Dr Coombs plays tennis, enjoys dance and likes to travel. She also works for the out of hours service, Brisdoc. 

 

Dr Emily Howse

  • Qualifications: MBChB, MRCGP
  • Education: University of Manchester
  • Special Clinical Interests: Training GP Mentor

Dr Howse has been with the practice since 2014. Her interests outside of work include hockey, sailing and walking. 

 

Dr Mo Kehinde

  • Qualifications: MBBS, MRCGP
  • Education: College of Medicine Nigeria
  • Specialist Clinical Interests: Dermatology, Student GP Mentor
  • Non-Clinical Interests: Patient Assistant Team GP Lead

Dr Kehinde has been with Downend Health Group from March 2021. She enjoys hosting a podcast, travelling and relaxing on spa days. 

 

Dr Chris Lear

  • Qualifications: MRCGP
  • Education: Brighton & Sussex Medical School
  • Special Clinical Interests: Urgent care, Dermatology & Musculo-skeletal conditions

Dr Lear is a keen sailor and relaxes by spending time with friends & family and listening to music. Dr Lear joined the surgery in 2016. 

 

Dr Trina Leskiw

  • Qualifications: BA, MBBS, MRCGP
  • Education: University of Alberta, University College London
  • Special Clinical Interests: Women’s Health, Sexual Health, Lifestyle Medicines, Primary Care Research

Dr Leskiw originates from Canada and joined the practice in 2021. She is a newly qualified GP Mentor and co-ordinates a primary care training programme for GPs in the BNSSG area.  

 

Dr Javier Montero

  • Qualifications: LMS ‘93
  • Education: University of Granada
  • Special Clinical Interests: Dermatology and minor surgery

Dr Montero joined the practice in 2005. Aside from his passion for the use of dermatoscopy and minor surgery, he also enjoys cycling, trekking, swimming and skiing.

 

Dr Victoria Photiou

  • Qualifications: MBChB, BSc, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFSRH
  • Education: University of Liverpool
  • Special Clinical Interests: Contraception and Sexual Health

Dr Photiou joined the practice in 2018. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spinning and learning Portuguese.

 

Dr Tharsha Sivayokan

  • Qualifications: MRCP, MRCGP, MSC (Public Health), PGCertMedEd
  • Education: University of Dundee
  • Special Clinical Interests: Integrated Care Partnership (South Gloucestershire)

Dr Sivayokan joined the practice in 2008. He spends half of his week at the practice and the rest working for the Integrated Care Partnership. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and spending time with family.  

 

Dr Sheng Tan

  • Qualifications: MBChB, MRCP, MRCGP, PGCertMedEd
  • Education: University of Dundee
  • Special Clinical Interests: Dermoscopy, GP Trainer, Medical Education 

Dr Tan enjoys reading and learning different languages in her spare time. She joined the practice in 2015.

 

Mr Priyesh Shah

  • Qualifications: MPharm, NMP, PCPEP, PACR
  • Education: University of Bath
  • Special Clinical Interests: Heart Failure, Hypertension, Dementia, Learning Disability & Mental Health

Priyesh joined the practice in 2016 as part of the NHS England Clinical Pharmacist in General Practice scheme. Aside from being a keen Liverpool FC supporter, he enjoys walking and exploring the English coast with his young family. 

 

Mr Siamak Rezazadeh

  • Qualifications: MPharm, NMP, PCPEP, PGCert
  • Education: University of Portsmouth
  • Special Clinical Interests: Hypertension, Asthma, COPD, Heart Failure

Siamak grew up in Bristol and joined the practice in 2019. He enjoys keeping fit, playing football and travelling to different countries with friends and family.
